Wind power plants
Wind power industry has a great potential in Ukraine, especially in southern regions. Today, the country has favourable conditions for the development of wind power projects; it is a potentially attractive direction for EU investors. Now, Free Energy is carefully considering the opportunity for developing a wind power plant project in one of the southern of western regions of Ukraine.
Solar power plants and bioenergy projects
Free Energy is also interested in other renewable power source projects, such as solar power and bioenergy. In 2009, the Ukrainian government established stimulating conditions for the operation of companies producing electric energy from renewable sources – the so-called “green” tariff that is planned to be preserved until 2029.
For solar power plants, the “green tariff” was considerably reduced in 2015, therefore today we are exploring the possibilities for investing in solar power industry under the new conditions.
