The company & laquo; Free Energy & raquo; focuses on Development and construction of small hydropower plants in Ukraine (micro, mini and small) from 100 kW to 10 MW of installed capacity.


We maintain partnerships with engineering companies and research institutes, with legal and financial companies with special equipment manufacturers and engineering companies.

Free Energy - an investment company that implements projects in renewable energy in Ukraine. The main business is real estate development (development), construction and operation of power stations that use renewable energy sources:

• Small hydropower plants 
• Wind and Solar power plants
• Bioenergy projects 
• Energy storage systems (ESS)


Today the priority of Free Energy is construction of small hydropower plants capacity from 100 kW to 10 MW. Over the next 3-5 years the company plans to build and put into operation a number of small hydropower plants with total capacity of 10-12 MW.

In the development of power projects from renewable energy Free Energy company conducts the following activities:

Search and allotment of land for construction of renewable energy

designing plants, obtaining permits and technical documentation

construction and commissioning of electrical connection

Electrical connection

commissioning and obtaining "green tariff"

Free Energy projects

The main focus area of Free Energy is the development of hydro power plants (micro, mini or small ones) with the power capacity of 100 kW to 10 MW. Over the next 4-5 years, the company plans to construct and commission a number of small hydropower plants with the total power capacity of 10-12 MW. 

Wind power industry has a great potential in Ukraine, especially in southern regions. Now, Free Energy is carefully considering the opportunity for developing a wind power plant project in one of the southern of western regions of Ukraine. 

Free Energy is also interested in other renewable power source projects, such as solar power and bioenergy. For solar power plants, the “green tariff” was reduced in 2015, therefore today we are exploring the possibilities for investing in solar power industry under the new conditions.

World-known South Korean manufacturers of lithium-ion batteries are represented in Ukraine by Free Energy. South Korean companies are recognized leaders in production of a wide range of batteries and storage systems, starting with batteries for private use and concluding with industrial energy storage systems (ESS).

Free Energy supports partnerships with engineering companies and research institutes, with legal, financial and consulting companies, enterprises that manufacture hydraulic and special equipment, is a member of the branch of the NGO Association "Ukrhуdroenеrgo" .
